WOW! What a freakin’ place. I feel like I am intimately connected to Kenn’s truck as I spent the better part of the weekend trapped in it. Such is life on the road when you are used to tripping solo. No worries – I got to catch up on a lot of sleep…

Ray’s MTB indoor bike park is an incredible place. From the variety of lines to the diversity of riders and bikes to the absolute amp and lack of attitude, it is a really great experience. Ray’s caters to so many types of riders from all levels. There are literally first timers and XC guys ripping it up with the 20” crowd as well as the DJ/street mountain bikers. For a racer like me, you can sprint your ass off at all of the big lines and stay really “racer-style low” off of everything. Scary thing with that is working your way up under the guy jumping in front of you in the numerous trains you’ll be in. Another scary thing is trying NOT to go over the wall ride -- you can literally pin it right to the top.

The quality and variety of lines available is mind boggling. From skinny’s to hipped wooden rhythm to a skate park to ladders and XC in the rafters, it is truly amazing. It was a perfect place to expand the testing of my prototype! Whether doing trials, pegging the Red Bull Box Jump wide open or ripping the pump track, I was super psyched on the handle and total package that we’ve put together for the new Original Woods bike The ride is spot-on, stiff and snappy -- I couldn’t be happier. Actually, I could if I knew exactly when I was going back to Ray’s. Soon…
